Heather Blum

Heather is a Tucson, Arizona–based jewelry artist, tool maker, and educator who traded an engineering career for life at the jeweler’s bench after early retirement. What began as a deep personal passion has grown into a full-time studio practice; one that now includes teaching both locally and across the country.

Her work blends traditional metalsmithing and goldsmithing techniques with modern technology, creating jewelry and studio tools that feel both handcrafted and smartly engineered. Heather loves the problem-solving side of the craft as much as the artistry, and she brings that same clarity and care into the classroom.
