Prerequisites: Beginner Learn how to quickly create beautiful earrings in Argentium silver by fusing wire to sheet. Then cut out the shape using a jeweler’s saw. In this class learn how to use a torch and solder earring posts onto your earrings. Additionally, Janet shares her tips and tricks from her 40+ years of metalsmithing.

Materials: (1 ¼” x 3/8”) 22 gauge argentium sheet (2 ea.), 22 gauge argentium wire (6”), 20 gauge wire for rings, ear posts (2ea), earring nuts (2ea), paste solder, yellow flux, solder, pickle, torch fuel, paper towels, Dawn soap, and printed handout.

Round nose pliers, flat file, fine tipped tweezers, needle nose pliers, and flush cutters.
