2/9/2020 2:30pm-6pm Kim St Jean Rolling Mill Simplified

In this class we will simplify the rolling mill so no matter what your texture medium is, you can roll with confidence. We'll texture various base metals with assorted texturing mediums, including standard plates, organic and inorganic materials. You'll leave with a new understanding of the settings and confidence with various textures. We will not be making finished jewelry pieces, this is a technique class.

Kit Includes:

Copper sheet, Red Brass sheet, Nickle sheet. Literature and any and all consumables needed.

Students should bring the following tools:

Instructor will provide the following tools for use in class:

Rolling mills will be present for use, texture plates, various organic and inorganic texturing mediums, all tools and supplies necessary to make textured samples will be provided.

Streaming Note: This class will be live streamed for remote students to be able to watch the instructor from home. We will have a release form for you to sign the day of the class and in exchange for the release we will grant you replay access to the class for you to watch from home if you want to review something from class. If you have participated as a live student in a streaming class before, we have changed our setup to be much less interfering with the live class but still gives great access to our students that can't make it to Tucson.
