Description

Come learn about opaque enamels as you create a beautiful copper link bracelet. You'll start by cutting out bracelet links and a toggle bar from copper sheet, while learning how to properly prep the copper for successful enameling. Discussion will cover when, why, and how to apply counter enamel, as well as enameling safety precautions. After a demonstration of enamel application, enamel embellishment techniques (stencils, stringers, millifiori flowers), and the torch firing process, you'll get hands-on experience as you design and torch fire your own bracelet links from a wide choice of colorful opaque enamels.

Kit Includes:

24 gauge copper sheet, glass enamels, glass stringers, crushed stone, and glass millifiori flower embellishments, stencil material, copper jump rings, miscellaneous workshop and torch supplies and consumables

Students should bring the following tools:

safety glasses, dust mask, insulated gloves, metal shears or scissors (to cut 24 gauge metal sheet), metal file, chain nose pliers (2). Apron and magnifying glasses are optional.
