My goal is to always be exploring, to forge a create path together! I strive to create an environment where students can develop their true potential, where everyone, regardless of their experience level, feels like they belong!

For the last 15 years, I've been an artist who loves to teach! I love the teaching process and my students are my passion! At first I thought that it was the love of my subject matter that excited me but after conducting almost a thousand classes and workshops, I've discovered that it's really working along-side students that I love. I'm overjoyed when a student feels a sense of accomplishment; when they connect to the information I've presented; when they choose go beyond their perceived limits.

Blah, Blah, Blah... I have a Bachelor of Fines Arts degree and a Masters in Art Education, but most importantly, I'm walking the walk, just like my students. I am a full-time artist-educator who teaches workshops in glass and metal clay-"smithing" at my studio in the Texas Hill Country, as well as at various venues around the country. My art is showcased in multiple galleries throughout the Texas Hill Country, and my architectural commissions can be seen in residences and places of worship all over the United States. I am privileged to serve as the Director of Educational Content for KilnFrog.com, an online resource for kiln education, equipment, and supplies, serving the glass, metal, and clay communities.
